Bear Hugs from around the World!

The staff at Hallo Bay Bear Camp are proud to introduce to you the Bear Hugs From Around the World Project.

Guests of Hallo Bay can bring a teddy bear to the Hallo Bay office and we will donate the teddy bear on your behalf to one Homer's local kids charities. 

The teddy bears will be put in the hands of abused or traumatized children, those who are less fortunate, children that have lost a loved one who served in the military or who are in need of a teddy bear friend to hug.

The Birds are Back!

We have been hearing the flocks of Sandhill Cranes fly over for the past week, but today marks the first day that our couple returned and landed.

Clint observed the annoyance of the female when she picked up pine cones and flung them away. Our prediction: the female is not happy with this spot due to the snow.

They then flew off most likely to find a spot without snow to nest.


We hope they come back once the snow is gone. So make sure you check the blog daily for
