Black Bears at the Home Office

A few days ago we awoke to a black bear on the deck
of our home office.
Later that night a different black bear was spotted on the deck as well!

Bear Hugs Project

This is our 2nd year of our Bear Hugs Project!
We ask locals and guests to bring us a new or gently used teddy bear
so we can donate them to a local non profit, Haven House.

At our recent 12th Annual Duck & Dessert Party
brought us loads of teddy bears that they collected for us!

Simyra and Sara with all the teddy bears for Bear Hugs Project 2013

We have 67 bears already and the season has not even started yet!
With so many, we have already taken a load to Haven House.
A Big Thanks to KRSA for helping us collect for our project!
