Webcam Update

Hooray! Yes, we got both webcameras up and going yesterday (Monday) We do not know who is the guilty party, Packer, the squirrel, the Stellar Jays or the magpies that worried the cable covering allowing water to enter inside the jacket and damage some of the 20 or so itty bitty wires located there.

Now another event began 3 days ago. A bald eagle has begun building a nest in the tree that is in the background of the birdcam! Now if this continues and she does not decide she doesn't like the location and stays, we may just be able to reset the bird cam to watch the nest 24 hours a day, but we will not take any chance of upsetting her. Will keep you updated Simyra's kitties are keeping a good eye on the eagles comings and goings as well as she just might decide they have really nice fur which would make good nest lining.
