Camp Update from Brad /pics ©BGarasky

 Camp Update from Brad:
Lots of critter action around camp Tuesday afternoon and evening.  The bear in these pics is a cub that just got sent out on his own by mom.  Simyra and a group watched mom kick him out sometime last week and saw him a few times since wandering around looking for mom.  He is still a little unsure of himself and his surroundings it seems like and when he spotted me sitting in a chair at the point he stood up to take a closer look then retreated back into the trees.

Not too long after the skittish cub made a visit, I spotted this sow and 2 cubs out for a leisurely stroll. They appear to be 2 yr old cubs and were having fun playing and checking everything out while mom was trying to keep tabs on them. They splashed around in Beaver Creek for awhile, wrestled on the beach, inspected the windsock, and played around the little beaver pond. Occasionally mom would have to go round one or both of them up and get them headed in the right direction again!  Always something fun going on out at Camp.
