Several large mates paraded by, while group sat at sand dune point at the mouth of river.
Male sub-adult bluff-charged two of them from safety of far side of river, tough guy that he is! Dark brown male belly flopped in deep part of the creek - twice - trying to tsunami some fish onto bank. On the way back we saw dark forms weaseling their way up slope through driftwood, first thought turkeys? -- two river otters disappeared in grass heading for marsh above river. We also saw Ted and male sub-adult at edge of surf as we headed back in evening.
