As we walked to the mouth of the creek, we noticed some birds playing by the treeline. Two large black ravens were playing in the updrafts of the blustery winds. They would chase each other and fly high up into the sky and tumble down together as they grabbed each others tail feathers with their tallons. Right at the last minute, right as they got close to the ground, they swooped back high up into the air and repeated the play behaviour all over again. This went on for over one hour. It was fun to watch such playfulness between the ravens.
