Yesterday we saw a couple of bears at the creek in the morning, looking for fish or dozing. There were three wolves that greeted us at the marsh creek opening, just as we topped a beach dune. One wolf vanished into willows immediately, then two others stood broadside for a minute or so before leaving us.
