Fannie's Camp Diary: July 2009

Fannie and Simyra took an adventurous 7 mile round trip hike to the waterfall far up Clint's Creek. After hiking through the thick trees and shoulder high grass, they made it to the cliffs. Another half mile up the hills and along bear trails they finally made it to the falls. What a beautiful sight. Along the trails they took they were able to see four species of flowers they had never seen before.(pics of these flowers will be posted soon) They also came through one section of trees that had many black capped chickidees that followed them through the brush for awhile. On the way back to the mouth of Clint's Creek, a bear was playing in the water with a piece of driftwood. What a wonderful day!
