Camp Update by Brad:
Yesterday, Simyra was out with a group of guests and came upon four bears clamming in the swikshak tidal flats. Watching bears clamming is always interesting, especially when you learn that they can eat shell and all. Then out on the bootleg there was a sow and her cub enjoying the afternoon. The guests also observed a lone wolf walking out on the beach, but there have been no more sightings of the white wolf. We'll keep watching and let you know if we see it.
At one point yesterday, another plane landed with guests and a bear wandered out to see what or maybe who was there. You have to admit, we have a unique welcoming party!
This morning there was a lazy bear out soaking up the sun by the Rock.
We hope to have pictures soon.
