"Ted" Sighting: Two guest and John hiked the Northwest ridge from beach. Great view of Big River beach meadow and the lake at foot of the bluff. We took a bear trail back down to the beach and welcomed a very large bear, who turned out to be our beloved "Ted" and we saw him twice more before day hike was finished. There were also several young bears were out tidal flats in the rain.
