Lynx ©JZegalia

gray paw Field Notes: by Clint

This picture was taken a few days ago of a very large lynx near Hallo Bay Camp (see radio ant in background) which, by its nature is a very reclusive and solitary animal. This particular male lynx has allowed itself to be knowingly observed at a distance by visitors guided by the formidable and strict naturalist Hallo Bay Camp guides. An example which is truly a compliment to the of conduct of my guides who hold the natural wildness of Katmai dear.
