John's Camp Diary: August 2009

Friday Camp Update: Watched an almost albino colored bear come out of the woods from cliff vista. Truly unique! Then one bear was curled up at base of a cliff on the gravel slope - the sun gave him away. And then we spied a blonde rug at the beach drive, which turned out to be a walking rug...bear that is!...from about 20-- 25 feet away.

Grand Inspiration: wilderness and wildlife at its best.

  1. SIDE NOTE: Do Polar Bears and Grizzly Bears ever mate? National Geographic published an article regarding this: http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2006/05/bear-hybrid-photo.html
