"Ladies Weekend" Adventure

Adventure came to Hallo Bay Bear Camp yesterday, when John (Guide) radioed to Camp from the beach that he and Christine (guest) saw a bear heading up toward Camp. Morty & Fannie (Camp Cook and Manager) and guests all came out to the mail box, and sure enough a bear was headed their direction. One of the guests, Margaret, said "Oh look, another bear." This new bear was heading our direction, too, coming from the meadow nearby Camp. We knew both bears saw each other, but they were acting like they didn't. Meantime, John and Christine were still down on the beach and the rest of us were on high ground up by Camp. Then all of a sudden both bears turned and headed back down toward the beach - the chase was on - straight toward John and Christine! All was under control as John and Christine knelt behind a log, and the bears raced right by them. We believe Christine took some very good pics, which she will share with us.
